Cliora runs on ordinary hosting and turns almost any screen into a display you can manage from anywhere. Pick the player for the device you already own — or install the whole workspace on your own domain.
PLAYER APPS
For the screen itself
Install the player on the device behind the screen, pair it once with a code or a QR scan, and it keeps showing whatever you assign to it. Changes reach it on its next check, usually within a minute.
Windows
Any Windows PC or mini PC behind a monitor or TV. Separate installer for Intel/AMD and ARM machines.
macOS
A Mac mini or an older MacBook makes a quiet, reliable player. Separate build for Apple silicon and Intel.
Raspberry Pi
The classic low-power option. A Pi 4 or 5 with a 64-bit system drives a screen all day for the price of a lightbulb.
iOS
The protocol is ready and the server already speaks it. The app itself is not published yet.

Player apps are installed by hand the first time. Once a display is paired, later versions can be delivered from the workspace.
THE WORKSPACE
Cliora portable
The whole Cliora workspace is a folder of PHP files. Copy it to your hosting by FTP, open it in a browser, and the first page creates your administrator account. No database, no build step, no command line.
Portable package
The complete workspace, ready to upload. Unpack it, copy the folder to your web space, then open it in a browser.
The workspace offers the player apps for download from cliora.eu, so the package is about a megabyte instead of several hundred. You can host the installers yourself later by editing one catalogue file — the readme inside explains how.

Docker
A container image and a compose file for people who would rather run Cliora on their own machine or server. In preparation.

What it needs
PHP 8.0 or newer
With the session, json, hash, openssl, fileinfo and dom extensions — these are standard on almost every host.
A writable folder
Cliora keeps everything in files inside its own directory. There is no database to create and nothing to configure.
HTTPS
Turn on the free certificate your host offers. Players and AI connections need it, and the installer reminds you.
Not sure which one you need?
Most people start with the workspace on their hosting and one player on a screen they already have. You can add more screens later, and nothing has to be bought twice.
Cliora is free to use and still in active development. Keep your own copies of anything important.
